Fourth Grade Grading Scale

Fourth Grade Grading Scale

Fourth Grade, the first level of the intermediate grades, is a year of transition and significant growth for students as they emerge from the primary grades. During the year students are encouraged to develop responsibility for themselves both academically and socially. Developing organizational and study skills is an integral part of the Fourth Grade.

The Grade 4 report card uses letter grades (A, B, C, D, F) based on percentages for the first time to evaluate the progress of each student. Parents or guardians are urged to contact the school whenever there is need for information about student progress.

The following grading scale will be used to assess your child's progress in school.
